Yes, the app displays the latest air quality readings. It automatically syncs with the device upon opening, provided a stable network connection is available. The app retrieves data from the device every minute; however, the device's data sampling frequency depends on its power mode. For detailed information, please refer to the notes below. Additionally, you can manually refresh the data by pulling down on the screen.

Notes:

• When powered via USB-C, the device samples data every minute. However, if no changes in air quality are detected, the on-screen values may refresh less frequently, approximately every five minutes.
• In battery mode, you can select between:

1. Energy-saving mode: 20-minute refresh intervals, offering up to one month of battery life.
2. Standard mode: 5-minute refresh intervals for more frequent updates.

This device can function in temperatures from 14°F to 122°F, and the temperature sensor is accurate to ±0.9°F.

To ensure the most accurate readings, you'd better position the monitor in a well-ventilated area that's not directly against a wall.

The monitor's response time varies based on its power mode:

• USB-C Power: The device samples data every minute. However, if no changes in air quality are detected, the on-screen values may refresh less frequently, approximately every five minutes.
• Battery Mode: You can choose between:

The AQI (Air Quality Index) does not include measurements for CO₂, formaldehyde, or TVOCs. It primarily reflects pollutants like PM2.5, PM10, ozone, and nitrogen dioxide. A "Good" AQI means those specific pollutants are at safe levels, but it doesn’t represent the complete air quality. High CO₂ levels can trigger a red alert on the EaseAir display, even if the AQI appears good. This is why EaseAir gives you a more complete picture of your air quality beyond just AQI.

Each air quality parameter is assigned a status based on its measurement range:   

CO₂ (Carbon Dioxide):

• Good: ≤800 ppm
• Fair: 800–1000 ppm
• Poor: >1000 ppm

 CO (Carbon Monoxide):

• Good: ≤9.0 ppm
• Fair: 9.0–35.0 ppm
• Poor: >35.0 ppm

 PM2.5 (Fine Particulate Matter):

• Good: ≤36 µg/m³
• Fair: 36–55 µg/m³
• Poor: >55 µg/m³

 PM10 (Coarse Particulate Matter):

• Good: ≤154 µg/m³
• Fair: 154–254 µg/m³
• Poor: >254 µg/m³

 HCHO (Formaldehyde):

• Good: ≤0.1 ppm
• Poor: >0.1 ppm

 TVOC (Total Volatile Organic Compounds):

• Good: ≤0.09 ppm
• Fair: 0.09–0.26 ppm
• Poor: >0.26 ppm

At present, our EaseAir Air Quality Monitor does not support integration with Home Assistant or MQTT. However, we are excited to share that six months after its launch in 2025, EaseAir will be updated to support the Matter protocol. This will be achieved through a simple Over-The-Air (OTA) update, which will make the device compatible with Matter. Consequently, this will enable its integration with Home Assistant and other platforms that support Matter.
